He shoots, you score! This winning recipe gets the nod from Nick Suzuki, Montreal Canadiens captain. That’s right, two of our favourite fast foods united in perfect harmony. On the one hand, you’ve got the makings of your next cheeseburger fix: ground pork seasoned with our Lively Garlic & Oregano blend, and topped with sharp aged white cheddar. On the other hand, you have the base for an easy pizza night: rounds of naan lushly spread with tomato sauce. Serve this two-in-one treat with a side salad dressed in honey-Dijon vinaigrette.

Preparation
Cook the pork
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Halve, peel and small-dice the onion. In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high. Add the onion and sauté, 1 to 2 min., until fragrant. Add the pork*; season with S&P. Cook, breaking up the meat, 4 to 6 min., until cooked through; season with ½ the spices and the nutritional yeast.
Mise en place
Meanwhile, medium-dice the tomatoes. Roughly chop the lettuce.
Assemble the pizzas
Arrange the naan on a lined sheet pan. Spread with the tomato sauce. Top with the pork, cheese and remaining spices.
Bake the pizzas
Bake the pizzas, 8 to 10 min., until the cheese has melted and the naan is beginning to crisp. Switch the oven to broil, 2 to 3 min., until the cheese begins to brown. Transfer to a cutting board and cut into wedges.
Make the salad
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, lettuce and vinaigrette.
Plate your dish
Divide the pizzas between your plates. Top with the salad. Bon appétit!
*Health Canada recommends cooking ground pork to a minimum internal temperature of 71°C.
