Preparation
Mise en place
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.

- Mince the garlic.
- Thinly slice ¾ of the tomatoes crosswise; small-dice the remaining ¼.
Make the sauce
- In a small pot, heat 3 tbsp butter on medium.
- Add the garlic and sauté, 30 sec. to 1 min., until fragrant.
- Add the spices and cook, stirring often, 30 sec. to 1 min., until a paste forms.
- Add the milk and cook, whisking often, 2 to 3 min., until thickened and no lumps remain.
- Off the heat, add the cheddar and S&P.
- Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool slightly.
Assemble & bake the pizza
- Meanwhile, on the back of a well-oiled sheet pan, stretch the dough out to a ½ inch thickness for a thick crust or ¼ inch for a thin crust.
- Spread with the sauce.
- Top with the mozzarella and sliced tomatoes.
- Bake the pizza, 16 to 20 min., until golden brown.
Make the salad
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the vinegar, 3 tbsp oil and S&P.
- Add the baby greens and diced tomato; toss well.
Plate your dish
- Divide the pizza (cut into wedges) between your plates.
- Serve the salad on the side. Bon appétit!
