Warm the falafels
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Quarter the falafels.
- In a medium pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium.
- Add the falafels and cook, turning often, 4 to 6 min., until warmed through.
Mise en place
- Meanwhile, halve the cucumbers lengthwise; using the side of your knife, smash until slightly flattened. Cut into large chunks.
- Slice the radishes.
- Pick the mint leaves off the stems; chop the leaves.
Make the salad
- In a medium bowl, combine the cucumbers, radishes, garlic, mint, lemon juice, sumac, a drizzle of oil and S&P.
Warm the pita
- Warm the pita directly on an oven rack, 1 to 2 min., until soft and pliable.
- Transfer to a cutting board and halve crosswise.
Plate your dish
- Divide the hummus between your plates and spread out in a circular motion.
- Top with the falafels, pita and salad. Bon appétit!
